If you are really
overweight, and have been struggling with your weight most of your life, it can
be tempting to want to try an extreme weight loss diet to help you shed those
pounds once and for all. An Extreme weight loss diet is one that touts extreme
measures to encourage weight loss. This can be anything from only drinking
liquid for days on end, taking dangerous diuretics, or in some cases, avoiding
food altogether. Often, these diets CAN produce significant weight loss
results, but, at what cost?
Someone who is already
overweight has put themselves at a health risk. They often have elevated
cholesterol, blood pressure, and are at higher risk for diseases such as
diabetes and even cancer. By adopting unsafe methods in order to lose weight,
they merely add health concerns to the ones they deal with already. Losing lots

are looking to lose weight and thinking about an extreme weight loss diet, instead,
focus on a more healthy alternative that will not only get you where you want
to go in life, but will allow you to do so in a healthy and controlled manner.
Focus on small simple goals at first. Counting calories, while it does involve
some work, is a great way to start shedding the pounds. Eating just 100 fewer
calories per day can result in several pounds of weight loss over a month.
Multiply that by 12 months in a year and you will start making some significant
progress toward your weight loss goals in a way that won’t harm your overall health.
Add to that eating sensible NATURAL foods that your body can easily process and
burn, and your fat loss will speed up yet again. Focusing on eating smaller but
more frequent meals will help you stay away from hunger and speed up your
metabolism. All these steps are effective, AND easy to do.
So, do you REALLY need an
extreme weight loss diet? Probably not. What you need, like many others, is a
PLAN OF ACTION… one that you can follow easily and that WILL show you results.
Focus on healthy eating habits as described above and you will be successful
over time. An extreme weight loss diet may give you results, but those results
will not be long lasting. Don’t make the mistake that so many others do. Your
life is precious, so focus on achieving your goals healthily and you will
eventually reach them and live a longer, healthier, and happier life as a
result!
